Building software, analyzing data, and implementing AI

About Me

I help organizations wrangle their data ecosystem and provide better services. As a consultant, I combine technical skills with domain expertise to solve real problems, whether that means building custom software, analyzing messy data, advising on strategic initiatives, or identifying where AI and automation actually help.

My career north star is helping government work better for the people it serves, though I take on projects in any industry where data and technology can improve outcomes. I'm also passionate about tackling major social issues, with particular expertise in the realm of criminal justice policy. I believe in safely reducing mass incarceration and racial inequities in the criminal legal system, taking a holistic lens from policing through reentry.

Currently, in my full-time work, I'm a Forward-Deployed Product Manager at Concourse. Before joining, I founded and operated Avenue Civic, a govtech and analytics firm. When I'm not working, you might find me at a bluegrass jam playing guitar or banjo.

Services

Custom Software & Web Development

Websites, web apps, internal tools, and platforms built around how an organization actually operates. Modern, maintainable, and aimed at a real operational problem rather than a feature list.

Data Analysis & Visualization

Quantitative analysis, policy and program evaluation, and the dashboards that make the findings usable. Interactive tools and public-facing sites that turn complex data into something people can act on.

Consulting & Strategic Advisory

Needs assessment, scoping, and implementation planning. Working out what to build, what to buy, and what to leave alone, before anyone writes code.

AI Strategy & Implementation

Working out where AI genuinely helps, then making it stick: workflow design, tooling, and hands-on training so teams actually use it. Set up so a person stays in the loop on the decisions that matter.
